Module I Accessing & Preparing Data.
You will learn about various key features of the Power BI service. This is an introductory course intended to teach you how to author reports using Power BI Desktop, create operational dashboards, and share content via the Power BI Service.
At the end of this module:
- How to load data from Microsoft Excel and Comma-Separated Values (CSV) sources
- How to manipulate the data to prepare it for reporting
- How to prepare the tables in Power Query and load them into the model
Module II Data Modeling and Exploration.
At the end of this module:
- Create a range of different charts.
- Highlight and cross-filter.
- Create new groups and hierarchies.
- Add new measures to the model to do additional analysis.
Module III Data Visualization.
At the end of this module:
- You will build a report like the one shown in the screenshot below.
Module IV Publishing & Accessing Reports.
At the end of this module:
- You will have completed a full report that is ready to be published to the Power BI Service.
- In the report, you will have learned how to do conditional formatting, add a logo to the manufacturer filter, import a custom visual, and apply a custom theme to the report.
- By the end of this module, you will have also learned how to add bookmarks to tell a story about the report.
